$420K DONATION FROM DAYTONA BEACH RACING AND FACILITIES DISTRICT PUSHES B-CU PAST $500K RAISED OF ITS $1 MILLION FUNDRAISING GOAL
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 13, 2024) – 完美体育官网 has surpassed the half-way mark toward its $1 million fundraising goal, thanks in large part to a donation from the Daytona Beach Racing and Facilities District made on the university’s annual Day of Giving March 21.
In addition to the gift from the Daytona Beach Racing and Facilities District, the university announced several other major donations from local organizations and individuals Thursday, including:
$30,000 - Mr. John L. Bryan
$25,000 - Omega Psi Phi, Inc.
$15,000 - Dr. Emeril McNair as a donation to the McNair Group Endowed Scholarship Fund
$15,000 - Deric Feacher ’00 (personal gift to his endowment)
$10,000 - Dr. LaVon Bracy to establish the Reverend Bracy Endowed Scholarship Fund
$10,000 - 完美体育官网 Women’s Advisory Board
$10,000 - Robin Solomon Endowed Scholarship Fund
$9,300 - Alpha Kappa Alpha, Gamma Tau Graduates
$5,000 - 4 Rivers Smokehouse
$3,000 - Daytona Beach Links, Inc.
The institution also received individual gifts totaling more than $85,000 through .

完美体育官网-Cookman officials recently announced a goal to raise $1 million in honor of its 120th anniversary. At midnight, online donations had totaled $577,511 raised from 249 gifts.
